I thought for a little while there that the first 6 eps of "Love Rain" might have ruined me for other kdramas for life, but just today I managed to watch a bit of "King 2 Hearts" without gagging, so I suppose there's hope for me yet.

I just watched eps 11 & 12 of "City Hunter" and now I can understand why everyone on my flist was squeeing so hard this morning!

"Best Love" is over! That was fun ♥

I enjoyed it a lot, even though once it was over I couldn't remember anything about it (unlike, say Secret Garden). I think for me in part that was because even though the leads were individually wonderful, they didn't really have much chemistry together. (Unlike, say, Secret Garden). Today I watched eps 2-4 of "Best Love" (aka "The Greatest Love")--I watched ep 1 last night.

So recommended! It's a bit reminiscent of "Secret Garden" but really only in a positive way.

In other news I made fried tilapia, black beans, rice and fiddleheads for dinner. The fiddleheads were SO delicious! Maybe I can find some more at the farmers' ( Read more... )

Heh. I finally got around to watching the 1st episode of HBO's "The Game of Thrones" and I must say, I quite enjoyed it. It was a perfect combination of utterly serious and rather kitschy, plus it seemed to me to do a good job of taking the rambliness of the books (which never met a tangent they didn't go off on) and imposing some dramatic unity.
